Basement On A Hill – Episode 48: Ben Beck/Monty Eich – Theatre of Blood

Comedian/Actor Monty Eich returns to The Basement for a third time, and this time he brings with him actor/writer Ben Beck with him to tell us about Omaha Community Playhouse’s production of Around the World In 80 Days playing now until February 12, 2017.
We open the show with a nonsense story about the worst bridesmaid in the world, and move right into News of the Dead where we discuss the scariest show from our childhood, Unsolved Mysteries. You can now watch later episodes with host Dennis Farina, as well as the first season with Robert Stack on Amazon Prime.
Ben takes his turn with the 7 Deadly Questions where he puts a lot of thought into #7: Who would win: Jason, Freddy, Michael Myers, or Leatherface.
We wrap up the show with a lengthy discussion on the 1973 Vincent Price film THEATRE OF BLOOD. We have a lot of fun with this one.
